Back to School is HERE! And that means children need new underwear, shorts, pants, tops and shoes!!! Clothes To Kids is busy serving more than 100 children/day to provide much needed school clothing to the low-income, in-need children in Pinellas County, all free of charge. To fill our racks, we especially need sizes 6-16 pant and shorts including uniforms for elementary school aged children – both boys and girls! School shoes are also a huge need.
Each year Clothes To Kids provides more than 12,000 school wardrobes to low-income and in crisis Pinellas county school children from Pre-K4 through 12 th grade. Each child receives a complete wardrobe consisting of 5 pairs of new underwear and socks, 4 pants, 5 tops, a dress, shoes and a jacket in season. We need to fill our racks especially sizes 6-16 pants (including uniform pants) and shorts. We are asking the community to continue to donate gently used and or new clothing, for school.
Important!!! Families that need clothing can make an appointment to shop at our St. Pete or Clearwater store. Call us today! 727-441- 5050. Donations may be dropped off from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at either of our two stores, one in Clearwater at 1059 N. Hercules Avenue and one in St. Pete at 2168 34 th Street South. Cash donations are also needed to purchase clothing in short supply, new underwear and socks.
