St. Pete Beach’s long-awaited new hardware store opened in the traditional location at 320 75th Avenue to rave reviews in early December. Stocked “to the gills”with an amazing variety of merchandise, Crowder Brothers True Value hardware has been worth the wait. They appear to stock everything you might imagine a hardware store should carry, but they do not stop there. Reportedly hot sellers before the holidays were the “Green Egg” line of high end Bar-B-Q’s, and the case full of sunglasses, a little better quality than those sold in most pharmacies and beach supply stores.
Much of the merchandise we used to get in Kmart in South Pasadena is now available on the beach, from well -stocked garden and pet departments to most everything for the home. They also plan a gold and jewelry department that is yet to be stocked. Owner J.C. Crowder gave his best crew the opportunity to come to the new beach store, to ensure they would be knowledgeable and helpful for us.
