Toxic toad also known as the Giant toad, Marine toad or the Cane toad, has been seen in the Vina Del Mar area. This particular species of toad is harmful to cats and dogs and in severe cases can cause death. Symptoms that may occur if ingested, may include drooling, head-shaking, crying, loss of coordination or in serious cases convulsions. Contact your veterinarian if your pet shows any sign or symptoms of toad ingestion.
