Healthy Plants Start with Healthy Soil

flowers-fieldIf you have tried to grow anything edible on or near the beaches you have learned that our sandy soil isn’t great for anything but weeds to grow in. To grow anything else well you must improve the soil. Many people are trying to grow some of their own food these days, and would like to use the healthiest methods.

Organic gardening is considered a healthier alternative. A growing number of people around the world now prefer to eat only organic fruits and vegetables because of this benefit. Most people are aware that chemical pesticides commonly used for regular gardening have adverse effects on plants, and even more so on human beings.

The best advantage of organic gardening is that it uses fertilizers derived from natural products, which are safer to use.

Organic gardening uses fertilizer and soil booster of a natural origin. A variety of such fertilizers and soils are produced right here in southwest Florida by Dr. Ali Tahiri’s company, Naturali Pro Florida. Dr. Tahiri left the practice of medicine to focus on healing people rather than treating them. “Naturali Pro was born to ‘Enrich the Earth with Natural Products. The starting point is healthier, more natural food.”

You can learn more about Dr Ali Tahiri and his company and his  “beyond organic”, product line by visiting their website www.NaturaliProFlorida.com. Their all-natural potting soil is now available at Haynor’s Nursery, 1625 Starkey Road in Largo and soon at Crowder Brothers Hardware at 320 – 75th Avenue in St. Pete Beach.

A former computer programmer turned environmental entrepreneur, Cindy says “We all need to do our part to help the earth. I am so impressed with Dr. Tahiri and his company that I have taken on their Potting Soil, Top Soil and fertilizers as my first organic product line.”
