corey-avenue-market-logoThe Market reopens for the 2015-16 Season on Sunday October 4th, 2015 10am – 2 pm., every Sunday through May 29th, 2016.

Started in October 2007 – This Market supports 50 – 80 vendors and is set to start again this Sunday October 4th, 2015The Corey Avenue Sunday Market on St. Pete Beach is a favorite of residents and tourists alike!

There will be a re-opening ceremony with a ribbon cutting led by Corey Avenue Business Association (CABA),. executives and St. Pete Beach City officials at11:00 am on Sunday Oct. 4th, 2015. Opening day music will be provided by Rob Irie – a market and beach favorite.

This upcoming season will be the second season for which Tampa Bay Markets will be managing the Corey Market, in conjunction with CABA. The market focus will continue to support vendors who sell a variety of locally produced and homemade items including produce, plants, take home foods, ready to eat lunch bites, hand crafts, ecofriendly, and fair trade products.

Coordination of the Corey Avenue Market continues to be a refreshed focus on the variety and quality of products the community is looking for. Last season’s efforts to program a variety of vendors to provide the community with an opportunity to shop fresh and local were well received and feedback from new and returning customers was positive. The renewed focus on fresh did not stop with the vendors, visitors also noted positive changes to the market format. These changes resulted in a friendly, open, and interactive atmosphere which only served to enhance the shopping experience with the merchants of the Corey Avenue Shopping District.

This season we are excited to bring some new additions to our ‘fresh’ line up: including Homestead Hydroponics, with their local grown greens…. familiar faces will be back including Dusty with his mix of organic, sustainably grown, & local conventional produce. John from Florida Fresh Herbs, Len with Circle6 Fresh Eggs, Ryder with his Micro Greens, and Brady with his BBQ.

Come and join us every Sunday from 10am-2pm for a day of shopping, fun, live music, and relaxation on Corey Avenue -St. Pete Beach’s shopping & dining district !
