Clearwater Beach got a bit more famous this week.
On Monday,TIME Magazine named Clearwater Beach the second-best beach in the country in the Travel section of its annual “The Answers Issue,” citing its “white sand and warm, gentle waves.” A day later, Travel + Leisure named Sandpearl Resort its No. 2 Family Resort in America and the 20th-best overall resort.
These latest two accolades come on the heels of Clearwater Beach being named No. 8 on TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Awards earlier this year and “Florida’s Best Beach Town” by readers of USA Today in 2012.
